Every client in your book of business starts with a single entry. This guide walks you through exactly how to do it in KundPro — and explains what each part of the client record is built to do for you long-term.

Step 1 — Start on the Dashboard

Log in and land on the Dashboard

When you first sign in to KundPro CRM + AMS, you will arrive at the Dashboard. This is your home base — a live view of your book of business, upcoming renewals, and activity.

From here, every part of your system is one click away.

Step 2 — Go to the Clients Module

Click "Clients" in the left-hand sidebar

In the navigation on the left side of the screen, click:

This takes you to your client list — your full book of business in one place.

  • If this is your first time using KundPro, the list will be empty. That's expected.
  • If you already have clients, they will appear here sorted by name.

Step 3 — Click "+ Add Client"

Find the blue button in the top-right corner

In the top-right corner of the Clients page, you will see a blue button:

+ Add Client

Clicking this opens the client entry window — a clean pop-up where you'll build out the client record.

Step 4 — Enter Client Information

Fill in the Profile tab

The window opens on the Profile tab. This is where you enter the client's basic information:

  • First and last name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Client status
Client Status Options
  • Lead — someone you're aware of but haven't contacted yet
  • Prospect — actively in conversation, not yet enrolled
  • Active — currently enrolled with at least one policy
  • Non-Active — formerly enrolled, no current coverage
  • Deceased — for record-keeping and compliance purposes
💡 Tip: The more you fill in here, the more powerful KundPro becomes. This data drives your follow-ups, birthday tracking, renewal alerts, and reporting. It takes 60 seconds to do it right the first time.

Step 5 — Save the Client

Click "Save Client" at the bottom right

Once you've entered the client's information, click the blue button at the bottom right of the window:

The window will close automatically. Your client is now saved and immediately appears in your client list.

Step 6 — View Your Client

Find the client in your Clients module

After saving, your client is now part of your book of business ledger inside KundPro. You can click their name at any time to open their full record and continue building it out.

This is where the real work begins.

The client record is the foundation. Everything else — policies, commissions, renewals, interactions — connects back to it.

Additional Tabs — What They're For

After saving a client, you can reopen their record and fill in more detail across several powerful tabs. These aren't optional extras — they're what turn a contact into a managed client relationship.

Policies

This is where you enter each policy associated with the client. For every policy, you can record:

  • Carrier name
  • Policy type (Medicare Advantage, Supplement, PDP, etc.)
  • Policy number
  • Effective date and renewal date
  • NFYC (Net First Year Commission) amount
  • Renewal commission amount and frequency
→ This is what powers your commissions tracking and renewal alerts system.

Interactions

Log every communication with the client — phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, and general notes. Every entry is time-stamped and tied to the client record.

→ Use this consistently and you'll always know: "What was the last thing I talked to this client about?"

Tasks

Create to-do items tied directly to the client. Tasks stay attached to the client record so nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Follow-up calls
  • Annual renewal review reminders
  • Application or enrollment deadlines
→ Keeps you organized without relying on memory or a separate task app.

Compliance

Store compliance-related documentation notes tied to the client. This isn't a document storage system — it's a record of what was captured and when.

  • Scope of Appointment (SOA) notation
  • Permission to contact records
  • Enrollment documentation notes
→ Helps protect you during audits and keeps your records clean.
